Edmund "Ned" O'Connor stepped into the reception area of Level Four. It was his first day of work, and he was anxious to get started as a newly appointed Beast Protection Officer. But first he stopped abruptly to admire the walls. Two of them were covered with the most gorgeous green leaves. If the rest of Level Four was anything like this, he knew he would enjoy his time spent working down here. If they had to be so far underground, it was nice to have some plants to cheer one up and provide some fresh air.

Speaking of plants, there was one lone, mysterious plant sitting on an unoccupied desk. Glancing around, Ned saw that he was still alone. He didn't yet see the receptionist. He'd planned to ask for some directions. Until the receptionist returned, he might as well take a closer look at the little plant. It sported tiny, delicate flowers. It was planted in an elegant little pot with soil that looked a bit dry. Hmm, maybe he should water it? Might make a good impression, being seen to care for the plants of Level Four as well as the beasts...

Ned withdrew his wand and nudged the little plant. He murmured, "Aguamenti." A thin jet of pure, clear water shot from the tip of his wand into the pot...
