But once they got to the recording studio in the back of the store, he paused just inside. "Wait right here," he instructed her, then stepped behind another door off to the side. Quite a commotion could be heard from behind the door until he reemerged a few minutes later, levitating a beginner magical drum kit behind him.
He lowered it in the middle of the enclosed recording studio then gestured her towards it. "Take a seat and try it out." The drumsticks were in his outstretched hand as he held those towards her as well.
Daisy waited just like instructed and looked around the recording studio as the shopkeeper entered another door. When he exited the door and asked her to sit and try out the drums, Daisy grabbed the drumsticks from his outstretched hand and began to play an up-tempo jazz number. Daisy did miss one or two notes but she sounded not as bad as she thought.
"This is perfect! Er.. how much are they?"
