"I'd give you one of my sandwiches but i left them in the compartment at the front" sorry. "I'm Dorian" he said and took a step closer to the trolley as well before looking back at Lex. "I hope there will be a chocolate frog left..." he said, vaguely wondering if the trolley had an magical endless supplies or not. "What are you getting?"
So his thoughts earlier had been wrong about her being a first year because as she asked about if it ever not became excited to return to Hogwarts, Dorian stared for a couple of seconds. "For real?" he asked and then laughed. "Im sorry, its just, i did everything in my power to get away from Hogwarts" times like this, he hated being poor cause his family could not move to a different country. "Obviously that hadn't worked" he sighed and pointed at the trolley. "Its your turn to buy something" "Ooh, I'd love a chocolate frog," said Lex. "I was also thinking of some pumpkin pasties." She took another step forwards, as the line for the trolley got even shorter. It was almost her turn! Lex could see the usual selection of sweets on the trolley.... a tough decision, indeed. "Looks like there are a few chocolate frogs left," she whispered to Dorian.
Her face fell as he mentioned getting away from Hogwarts. "Really?" she asked, her silver eyes widening in concern. "Why didn't you want to come back?" As soon as she asked, she felt awkward about it. Maybe it was personal? And she barely knew this boy. "Er," she added, "I mean I suppose Hogwarts surely can't be for everybody. But I think it's great."
Lex turned around sharply as Dorian pointed to the trolley. "Oh yes, of course!" she squeaked, jumping forward to the trolley filled with sweets. She smiled at the woman behind it, and quickly selected a chocolate frog, a few pumpkin pasties, and a package of jelly slugs. She thanked the trolley lady and handed her the money for her sweets. She looked back cheerfully at Dorian. "Your turn!" she said. |
