**Backstory**

Arthuria Ygraine Ambrosious was born during an early-spring snowstorm in Glastonbury, England at the Ambrosious' Manor. She was given the name Arthuria to honor her maternal grandfather. A little brother, Emrys, was born just before Arthuria turned 5 in 2090 but the baby did not make it longer then 2 weeks before dying from cold exposure. Though she was very young Arthuria remembers her brother and intends to honor him with a tattoo when she is old enough, for now she wears his semi-precious gemstone of Pink Tourmaline in a ring on her pinkie finger. There are rumors that Arthuria's mother is descended from the Lady of Avalon, Vivienne du Lac.

her mother wanted her to have experience in interacting and socializing with muggles and so enrolled her daughter into a muggle public school, to the protests of Arthuria's grandmother, who feared for her granddaughter should the muggles realize she was a witch.

She was positively received as even as a child Arthuria was a kind, caring and loving child (especially of animals) who loved to make those around her happy though this seemed to draw bullies to her as well. She was not one to back down and would protect the shyer students from the class bullies. It so happened that she was protecting a newly transfered student from a few of the boys in her class when her anger sent the muggle boy flying backwards into the chalkboard, giving him a nasty concussion. Though she was horrified with herself her mother thought it best to pull Arthuria out of the muggle school and educate her at home, Arthuria sent homebaked cookies to the boy and an apology letter.

Her love of reading was evident and was something her family indulged her in. it was when she turned 9 that her love and gift for writing surfaced and resulted in her first journal (which started her on her daily journal writing). After the incident at the muggle school Arthuria showed a determination in learning to control her magic. It was the year before she received her letter to Hogwarts did the final of Arthuria's gifts presented themselves to the girl: the ability to see the past of inanimate objects if she held it and concentrated long enough. To her relief it did not work on other human beings.
