Subtly, he moved her hand so that her arm was now hooked around his - in a gentlemanly manner, as always. "Do you know them?" he inquired, lowering his voice a bit as he nodded his head in their general direction.
He did not follow quidditch, so the man was as foreign to him as this country was. As was the woman, who had not worked with his uncle and therefore any ties he may have had to Hogwarts between them was gone.
She looked lovely, by the way. Though he had already said as much when he had gone to pick her up. This brought back memories of when he had taken Emilia out to a concert...and his uncle had driven them. The perks of being of age and the ability to apparate rather than needing an adult escort. His uncle was, by far, the most embarrassing person ever when it came to such matters. Was it really warmer inside? As they further entered the theatre, Vivian didn't notice it just yet. It was cold in Scotland, where Hogwarts was, almost all year round and perhaps seven years of living in a dormitory that was situated under the lake had made it easier for her adapt to the cold. Nothing compared to Durmstrang though, she was sure of that. Even more reason why she chose to go to university in Spain, where it rarely snows.
Her blue eyes fell on both the adults again. "The woman was my Head of House," Vivian said. And it was even more awkward when Professor Vance saw her, so the former Head Girl offered a quick smile to her before looking away. "And the guy she's with... I'm not sure, but if my memory isn't failing me, I've seen him play against my aunt?" That was years ago, though. The quidditch rosters changed every season, so her memory could very much be blurry now.
She lowered her voice a little bit. "Can I just say that it is a bit awkward seeing your former professors outside of school?" Because it was. It was like her professors had the ability to shed off their old skin for a new one whenever they were outside. So strange.
He had told that, and even before seeing each other tonight. Memories of stargazing one night lingered a little bit in her mind. But despite how many times Andrei had told her she was lovely, Vivian could never resist that stupid grin on her face that she would try so hard to conceal.
Except, well, that was right after she made sure her Aunt Elise wasn't throwing threatening looks between Andrei and her beater's bat when he had picked her up. Vivian understood that. She has had her fair share of insane aunts and uncles too.
