She was only here today to check over the list and write the prices down so her parents could go ahead and see if they could find the books cheaper somewhere else, and Bel intended to do that as quick as she could so she could spend the rest of her time shopping somewhere a bit more her speed.
Probably QQS if she was being honest with herself.
Except, there was a welcome distraction!
"G'day Daisy!" Bel bounded up to her dormmate of the past couple years. Teammate too of course. Bel hoped that would continue to be the case this year. She knew Daisy had had a tough go of it the previous year, but being on the team was good for her, right? "How's ya summer going?"
