Giving the guy a polite smile when Bel asked him about joining his lane, Cam nudged his friend and grinned at her. See? He was having a good time. "Thanks." Oh, this guy had manners. He highly appreciated that too. Good choice they'd made. "Nice to meet you. I'm Cameron." He stepped a little closer and shook the boy's hand. "This is Bel." Now, did any of them really know how to bowl?

Because he didn't.

(Though she imagined it WOULD probably shut them up for a bit if that was something anyone felt was necessary)

(Actually though, shrunken heads maybe had some interesting things to say, she wasn't sure and was at least a little curious about any observations they might make)

She was all cheery grins at the intros -though honestly, why they felt the need to be so proper was beyond her- and she dropped her bag down by one of the chairs. She was looking forward to this, and pretty happy that they had found someone else to play with because the more the merrier, right?

"Its nice to meet ya, Zachary-- do ya go by Zach orrrr are you one of those full name people?" Because that would be disappointing. Who had the time for multiple syllables, ya know? Even as she was talking, Bel was going over to grab one of the heads, opting for the grip on the hair and giving it an experimental swing.

Seemed easy enough!
Whenever he met new people, there was always this moment he couldn't really be himself. Too busy gauging them to know how much of himself he could be in front of them in the first place.

They seemed friendly though, the girl more so than the guy. "Cameron," he repeated, squinting his eyes a little, "I feel like I know you from somewhere" he added - which was a lie really, but it was a habit - one that often helped him break the awkward small talk bit.

Turning his head toward the girl, he grinned back, "Zac is just fine" he said, before adding: "try to be good, they can be quiet insulting"
