It was a big deal. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss?" She couldn't remember if the shopkeeper told her her name or not. Even if she had, she'd probably would have forgotten it after the toppingsplosion.
She continued to clean as Isley spoke with Daisy, wondering a little bit what the plans were for the broken machine. It would make a neat project to try and get it running again. If only she had a place to work on it, she would ask to keep it. It also made her think of the project she started the previous year, trying to make and sell chocolates at Hogwarts. It had sort of fizzled out, but she could try again. "Thank you so much." Isley said with a small smile. She didn't know what she would have done had no one come in to help her. She was so grateful she could cry, but now was not the time for that.
"So nice to meet you Emmalyn." She said with a nod as she moved her wand over the ceiling trying to clean things up. It was proving a little harder than she expected. This would be a slow process. "Tydings. My name is Isley Tydings, owner and shopkeeper." She said with a grin. "And the Pleasure is all mine." She gave the girl a wink.
She was so glad that the worst everyone got was covered in ice cream toppings. it could have been a lot worse. She was definitely going to have to buy a new Toppings bar... Quote:

When Isley mentioned the machine, Daisy nodded and said, "Maybe replacing it would be the best thing to do if it is old."
"So good to meet you Daisy. I'm Isley Tydings." She watched in awe as the older girl was already using non-verbal spells! She must be a very talented witch. She hadn't mastered those until sixth year.
"I think it will be. It's a very old machine and has been slowly breaking down since I took over the shop." Isley said shaking her head at a particularly hard to remove piece of cookie dough stuck to the ceiling. "I can't thank you girls enough for helping me clean up." She was so glad to have the help and was sure they would much rather be shopping than cleaning up this mess.
