"Do you have a copy of an article you have written and names of some references?" That could help weed out if he was wasting his time or not, by looking over an article. "Well, my name is Nomi and I have just finished a journalism course at a Muggle university in my previous location in New York. I attended Ilvermorny prior to that. I moved to London about six months ago to pursue a career as hopefully, a fashion/beauty columnist where I write about the latest trends and to advise those who wish to be advised."
She reached into her bag and pulled out an article that she had written regarding beauty advice. SPOILER!!: Beauty Article Choosing the Right Cosmetics by Nomi Caplan
When it comes to selecting the correct cosmetic quite several factors must be taken into consideration. If you have blonde hair, it is best for you to use soft and natural hues. Blue-eyed blondes look best wearing silvery shades of eyeshadow. Those with eyes of brown can wear more plum-based shades of eyeshadow. Blondes with more olive skin tones do best with wearing earth tones. Do not wear very light tones if you’re pale.
If you have red hair, don’t use a makeup base that has the same tinting as your hair colour. Since redheads are known to be prone to sun damage, make sure you have a foundation with a high SPF rating. However, this reporter feels that this advice should be taken into consideration by everyone, no matter the colour of their hair or skin. Your skin will thank you. Eyeshadow wise, opt for soft brown or purple shades like plum. Never ever go for reddish lipstick but instead go for more neutral colours such as a demure pink.
Brunettes are quite fortuitous when it comes to cosmetics as they can get away with wearing many shades of make-up. Experiment with golden-brown and grey eyeshadow tones. If you’re a brunette, it is better for you to wear richer shades of lipstick and not pale shades such as pink. The darker the hair colour, the richer the lipstick shade.
Remember that it is best to take your time with your make-up and to, of course, have fun in the process. "Oh, just a moment!" Nomi said as she pulled out a couple of references and handed them over. Quote:
