BUT down to business... Pen had a very small allotment of money to spend on things were not for school, so she had to choose her books wisely and shop smarter! That shouldn't be an issue seeing as she was used to having to be frugal. UGH. And just as she rounded a shelf she came across a boy who was talking to himself... or to the books... or simply thinking out loud. All things she was familiar with, honestly. A small smile crept across her lips as she moved around him and started to look at the spines of the books as she went. "What's your favourite genre?" she asked in a small, squeaky voice. Zach CONSTANTLY harped on her to talk to people and try to be normal... so this was the first step to achieving that goal, right?
He was just nearing the end of the shelf when a squeaky voice rang through the air. Turning his head around he noticed a girl who looked about his age. Smiling at her, he started to run through any of the fun reading books he had read that were magical.

Well there was, nope that was a muggle book... Oh what about... nope another muggle book. Well now this was about to be as interesting as him playing cards in the compartment on the train. “Uh, well I was trying to figure out which one, then I realized I’m more of a muggle reader than a wizard in reader. Never got many chances to read the books.” pointing toward the book shelves around him he shrugged.

“And what about you? Anythin’ specific?”
His Tennessee was strong today, but one day he was worried it would be some terrible mix of European and American and no one would understand what he was saying. He leaned against the sturdy book shelf and paid his full attention to the girl, “oh I’m Patrick, don’t think we ever officially met.”
