YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Was it awkward for Skylar to just want to sit and reflect? She really should be savoring her last few moments and her last Hogwarts feast by trying to chat with as many people as possible. And yet she knew at least of her dormmates that this was not going to be their last time seeing each other. Or at least she hoped not. Seven years together was quite the bond and even through some trivial disputes over the years, they were some of the best memories she had.
Her gray-blue eyes followed Flynn over to Ronan for the briefest of moments until Vivian came and gave her a tiny squeeze. Grinning back up at the bestie, she hoped she knew she could tell her anything. Really anything. Some of the last few months seemed rather strained between even them, but even so, she loved that girl. Which was why she frowned when the blond chose a seat near where Flynn's seat had been down the table a bit. And why she stood up and walked to plop down on her other side and rest her head on her shoulder. No words were needed, right?
There were the other two from their original snake sisterhood. She nodded at Junia and was about to answer something of seeing her at the Ravenclaw Table, when sure enough Liss showed up. "Seven years is a long time, but .... thank you. All of you." She wasn't going to cry. No tears. She needed to keep a level head until she at least signed that memory book. Also, had she heard Liss' question to Junia she would have agreed wholeheartedly. While she would miss this as her home next September and was definitely worried about Elias and Evelyn, she was ready for her next big adventure.
Speaking of adventures, she was reminded of the post received on her arrival to the Great Hall at The Baron's words and then Patrick echoing his words. So nosy, honestly. "Good evening, Sir Baron," Skylar said calmly, shrugging indifferently. "Patrick." And to reply to them both. "I guess so. My first cursebreaking program acceptance, but ..." she bit her lip, "I'm hoping for another location." Paris was lovely but she couldn't see spending the next few years there; not when everywhere she looked she would have memories of him and he didn't want her. None of this were things she could really say to Patrick or the Baron, however; they were things she could tell Vivian, of course.
