Laurel entered the Great Hall with mixed emotions. She was happy that the crazy battle with the inferi’s were behind them and that everyone, herself included had healed from the injuries sustained that awful night but it had also made her very pensive. She put on a sunny smile though as she saw that Tristan and Kalen were already seated at the staff table. Laurel could play happy and chipper for a night since they had a wonderful summer break ahead of them. She’d get to see Oliver and her parents and friends. Maybe she could finally get Kaysha to buy a coloured skirt? For the night laurel was wearing a dark dress with glittering white butterflies on it and red heels and her green hoh pin pinned to front of her dress.
Coming up on the staff dais to slip into her assigned seat she smiled at the two present men "Good evening Kalen and Tristan! How are you both feeling tonight? Have you healed from your injuries?" The bad burns on her chest had finally stopped aching and Penny had assured her that the scars would be minimal if she had any. Inferi’s were now on the top of her most hated creature list.
