"OH, DEAR MERLIN!" she couldn't help but say, as the Inferi spoke. Nevermind waiting on Marchand for instructions. As soon as the Inferi charged forward again, Maddie yelled out in surprised and dropped all the treasure she was holding. Whatever happened to exercising a little patience, hmm?
"Come on, Dorian!" she said, and she grabbed her fellow third year by the tail of his shirt and jerked him along behind her. If she was going to keep running headfirst into a battle scene, she was at least going to start keeping Dorian beside her!
