There was no escaping: with the close proximity, the Inferi couldn't escape the fire spell shot at it. It burst into a bright ball of fire... but that's not all. The force of the poke caused the already damaged Inferi's head to detach itself from the rest of the body with a giant RIP! The head, still on fire, rolled.... rolled.... rooolled... leaving a trail of fire in its wake...

The Squid's tentacles lashed in every direction, throwing Inferi every which way. Bodies flew, Skewts were thrown about and more bonfires of lifeless corpses lit up the eerie scene. Even the vegetation was suffering.

Legless.... armless... more and more Inferi were getting their body parts detached from their torsos. With all the force of the thrashing, it started raining bones. Body parts and tattered clothes rained down on the remaining humans. It was a reminder of the damage that had been caused, the pain that had ensued.

The Inferi were smaller in number and they were starting to get even angrier.... even more restless....
