His mummy wasn't too fond of how close the playground was to that scary alley. But Gabe wanted to have fun at the playground because shopping bored him to death. The five-year-old kid managed to get out of going into Madame Malkin's, promising to head straight to the park and not talk to big strangers.
And that was exactly what he did.
The carousel immediately caught his attention. The monkey bars and mini-Hogwarts fort were cool and all, but there was something alluring about those magical creatures going around and around and around. He watched them for a few minutes, not sure which one he should hop on.
