A pair of pale hands eerily clambered onto the rock, hoisting up the remainder of the skeletal humanoid figure that was attached. It wasn’t alone. After the leader of the pack was standing in the moonlight, more hands and bodies emerged, causing the water to ripple in all directions. Water dripped from their bones and tattered clothing onto the ground as they all assembled beside the boathouse.
Once the troop were all out of the water, everything was silent. Being on the opposite side of the grounds, there were no humans present or fire being casted to keep them away. Their cloudy white eyes were all focused on one spot.
At once they started moving forward. Some took the stone steps up, others decided to climb the rocky side of the cliff. Their bodies, though many were crawling, moved swiftly and quietly.
They were an unstoppable force, all moving in unison, all heading toward the main entrance of the castle.
