The offer of scones was awfully tempting! "Thanks! I'll have one." She helped herself to a scone. "Would you like some of my cake?" There wasn't much left, but it would be rude not to offer her something in return. "So how's your weekend so far?" she asked.
She smiled brightly as the fourth years cheery response and took a seat. After placing her tray of treats on the table she said "Thanks! You can pick whichever one you like." She pushed the plate of scones a bit closer to Elissa so she could have her pick. The scones at Madame Puddifoot's were some of the best she had ever had.

"Oh, thank you. Maybe just one bite if you don't finish it. I have more than I can eat right now." She poured a cup of tea, added a touch of cream, and one half spoonful of sugar. After giving it a little stir, she took a long slow sip. "Mmmmm. I love the tea here too." Emmalyn took a small bite of scone before answering. "My weekend has been great so far. I love coming here, although I'm not sure how I feel about it being so close to Valentine's day." She shrugged her shoulders and took another bite of scone. "How about you? How is your weekend going?" She couldn't remember of Elissa had a special someone or not, so she didn't want to ask about it. Plus, she had found her sitting there alone, special someoneless, in a sort of romantic tea shop. She glanced around at a few of the couples in the room and decided that it was sort of a date destination.
