But he was glad that he had a strong stomach at least.

While the Professor demonstrated the spell on the dummy's injuries, Dorian got a little closer to get a better look. The longer he stared, the more fascinated he became. Still disgusted though , but with a hint of fascination. "Does it heal the wound completely or does it just relief the pain?" he asked. This wasn't answered yet right?
..... Huh.

"Interesting question, Mr Katharos," Really, it was. It made the boy sound as though he was interested in the topic which, he silently hoped was true. "It doesn't heal the wound completely, no. It helps to relieve the pain and stop the spread of the hex. If you ever get hit by this spell, you can cast the counter-curse, Modero, at the point you've been hit. This'll stop the hex from spreading even more, which'll give you enough time to get the ointment you need to heal the wound completely."

Did that make sense?

Something that Hirsch couldn't help but notice were the number of sparks being produced. It might not count for much for the time being but he was glad that there was some practicing going on, especially given how gruesome this lesson was in comparison to some of the others. In fact, he was very much surprised that no one had ran out of the classroom just yet.

Just saying.

The Defence professor glanced down at his watch every now and then, almost counting down the last few seconds until the end of this activity. It was only when the second hand reached twelve that he placed his index finger and his thumb in his mouth and let out a low whistle.

Did that get everyone's attention? Yes?

"Alright, everyone! That was a great attempt at trying to cast the spell on some unconscious beings," Or, well, dummies, who had no life form in the first place. "But, I think we should make it a little bit harder for you. Give you a challenge so that you can cast the counter-curse even when you're moving or slightly preoccupied." Practice makes perfect, after all.

"For this part, we're not going to be using the dummies," Which some people might be happy about. "so..." Hirsch took out his wand and gave it a small flick. The hospital beds, with the dummies on them, flew off to one side of the room, where they lined up neatly against the wall. That left a large expanse of the classroom, which only highlighted how empty the classroom really was.

"For the last part of this lesson, we're going to play a little game. I'm going to cast a spell that'll produce a reddish-purple liquid, almost like lava." Did they see where he was going with this? "This liquid will spread around the floor of the room and if it touches you, not only will it sting you, but it'll also trap you in place, as if it's glued your feet to the ground." Which probably sounded a lot better than having your flesh eaten alive.

"Now, it'll be your job to protect yourself from the liquid using Modero. If you find yourself stuck, you'll have to use Modero as well. The longer you're stuck for, the more powerful version of Modero you'll need." Understood? "You can conjure anything else you like to help you escape from the liquid. You can also use Fianto Duri, if you wanted, but I want you to practice using this particular counter-curse. And remember: constant vigilance!" Cue a dimpled!smile from the Defence professor.

"I'm going to give you......" He glanced down at his watch. "a little over half an hour until the lesson closes. Ready? Set? GO!" And with that, Hirsch gave his wand a complicated wave, causing a reddish-purple lava-like substance to start flowing from each of the four corners of the room.

Constant vigilance, students.

OOC: THE FLOOR IS LAVAAAAAAA!

*ahem*

Anyways, MAIN ACTIVITY TIME! It's pretty simple: the floor is lava! There'll be some reddish-purple lava flowing out from the corners of the room. You have to do your best to avoid it/protect yourselves from it using Modero. If cast correctly, it'll produce a salmon-pink shield. If the lava catches up with you, you'll feel a sting and it'll stick you in place. Modero will 'unstick' you from the lava. You're welcome to produce anything else (stones, platforms, idk) to help you, if you want.

I'm going to make Narrator posts every now and then to guide you along/add some extra challenges along the way ( ) but you're more than welcome to make up results as well. Just don't RP for someone else, okay? :3

You're also welcome to work on your own or in groups, it's completely up to you.

I'm going to give you until the 30th of June at 11:59pm GMT+1 to make as many posts as you want!

Have fun and nudge me if you need anything at all!

Thanks, lovelies!
