Daehyun hadn't exactly thought things through when he'd made his way over to professor Wayland's hut, so he was startled when the door opened. He just figured it was a beautiful day, and while he preferred the cold, most people seemed to be in better spirits on sunny days. So he thought that paired with his puppy eyes, the professor might just give in and take him to the forbidden forest.

"Hello, professor! I'm-" beyond nervous, "I'm good. It's-it's a beautiful day, isn't it?" Cue nervous laugh. "Perfect for a walk..." out in the forbidden forest where it was probably dark anyway, what was he even saying? "I was wondering if-if you had time-I-I've always wanted to see the acromantulas in the forest." Okay, time to shut up and stop muttering nonsensical things. He was nervous, though. He knew that the forbidden forest was obviously forbidden, and for a good reason at that, but he was asking a professor to take him there instead of venturing alone. That had to count for something, right?

Oh, Merlin. Why was it so nerve wracking?
