It was actually quite fun to collect the plant parts, Chloe decided, as she positioned her cup beneath the spadix and scraped gently into her cup. She hated the idea of hurting a plant, even knowing plants didn't specifically feel pain, but this was so gentle and the plant was so big... she didn't worry at all about hurting it.
Once her cup was half full, Chloe set it to the side and grabbed up her second cup. It was even shorter work to scrape the spathe until the cup was a third full. She checked it twice before carrying both cups back to her work station.
Now, what was it that Professor Noble wanted them to do? More supplies, which meant they were going to properly brew something today! Chloe had to keep herself from skipping as she returned to the front of the classroom/greenhouse to gather her cup of crup urine (ewwww) and garlic. And a GLUG? What was a glug? It was so imprecise a measurement that it had her fidgeting as she picked up the castor oil and then set it down again.
"Professor, how much is a gluuuuuuuug?"
