I'm just not feeling the Valentines vibe this weekend, y'know?" No bitter feelings, though. But a subject change was necessary because Vivian wasn't in the right mindset to talk about stuff. "Were you planning to buy some?"
Glancing sideways, Vivian saw her Charms professor and nodded in acknowledgement, along with a small smile. The seventh year jitters were a contributing factor to her general mood today, for sure. Vivian's response was hardly satisfactory, but Kye could understand not wanting to get into anything in the middle of Honeydukes. She began a sympathetic smile when she saw the professor enter. She gave him a little wave and smile in response, wanting to focus back on her dormie. "Hey no worries. and but of course!! I'm my own valentine so I'm treating myself right!" Kye smiled mischievously at her roommate while mock-presenting the fudge counter. "I'll be yours too today, which kind do you prefer?" Kye practically jumped to face the options again, more excited about this than grabbing a drink at The Three Broomsticks right now. "I'm definitely getting thiiiis..." she pointed at a very chocolatey one, "aaand I haven't quite decided what else yet." If there was ever a time for Kye to say this, it was now: They deserved to treat themselves! With Quidditch, homework, NEWTs, each other... Merlin knew they deserved fudge. At an attempt to move on to a better topic, Kye spoke again. "So do you have an itinerary while you're here? I think my main stops were for fudge, firewhisky, and quills... and sugar quills" Mmmm sugar quills.
