YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Defense. It was one of those lessons that Skylar had a love-hate relationship. Surprisingly she'd managed an Outstanding on her OWLs, but somehow there were aspects that she seemed to struggle with. But at least Hirsch was a good professor and it didn't help that he was easy on the eyes (although all the professors kind of were).
But she did nearly freeze at the sight of the hospital beds. While she had previously considered creatures healing as a career possibility, the presence of the hospital beds were a reminder of someone else. And it pained her to think of him, in every possible way. Was it too late to slip a puking pastille into her mouth to skive off this lesson?
Curling up in her sister's bed sounded good right about now instead, but Skylar drew a deep breath. She couldn't very well be an effective Cursebreaking Auror if she couldn't even deal with heartbreak, could she? With that she took a step forward and a "Good morning, Professor," polite enough, although refrained from eye contact. She spotted Junia and Vivian but honestly, wasn't in the mood to sit near them, so instead sought a seat near the window. She could distract herself with the pretty winter scenery outside, maybe.
