Blink. Blink. Rylee looked up at Myers as he answered her question. Though she wanted to state that what he had just told her was clearly obvious to anyone that knew anything at all about this plant and it's berries she held her tongue. She might know a ton about plants and flowers but that didn't mean those around her did and therefore Myers repeating what had been said earlier in the lesson could be useful. What she had been hoping to hear was indeed confirmed and that got a bright smile out of her. If this potion was safe should anyone human or creature actually consume it than she would be able to use it without worry. "Thank you, professor," she replied with a nod of her head and another smile.

Rylee listened very closely to the following instructions on how to gather the shavings from the plant. A half cup from the spadix and a third cup from the spathe. This sounded easy enough since the plant wouldn't be moving about or trying to harm her in anyway except for it's stench. Replacing the mask over her face she accepted one of the little scrapers and the plastic cups.

Moving closer to the corpse flower she had no trouble in getting right up close. Sometimes being really small was helpful. Using the scraper she carefully scraped the spadix until it was half full and then scraped the spathe filling the cup a third of the way. Now that she was finished with that she stepped out of the way waiting for the next set of instructions.
