Max did a little double take when he stepped into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. For a split second he feared that in his pre-OWL frazzled state, he’d somehow wandered into the Hospital Wing. But nope, there was Professor Hirsch… and rubber gloves? Okay.
The fifth year greeted the Professor with a smile and helped himself to a pair of the gloves on his way past.
He chose a spot on the mat that wasn’t too close to the beds, but it wasn’t his usual spot right at the back either. He was curious. Hopefully, there was something COOL hidden under there.
