Professor Myers sure was happy to see him, his returned greeting enthusiastic. Though he couldn’t say Professor Noble’s own was too disappointing. Polite but different. Soon enough, class was begun and they were introduced to the first smelly plant. A corpse flower. Yeah, that name fit the smell for sure, one of a rotting corpse. Or at least how he supposed one might have actually smelled if he had any actual experience in the matter.
He offered the herbology professor some claps for the bloom, not wanting to disappoint but he couldn’t find an answer. He didn’t know anything about said flower. Well other than the fact that it, of course, smelled unpleasant. Septimus simply remained quiet, letting his classmates speak and ask any questions they themselves had in mind. Surely they would be finding out all they needed to know during the course of the lesson…or for homework.
