"Miss Lydia follow Tinka voice. Tinka here, wait for you."
Lydia followed Tinka through the cupboard in the laundry room, crouching down a bit even though she was small for her age. She still wasn't as small as the house elf.
Following Tinka's soft footsteps, Lydia eventually stepped out from behind the portrait into what looked suspiciously like the 5th floor corridor. Wait a second...she didn't remember climbing any stairs, and the laundry room was in the dungeons!
You're at a school for magic. What do you expect? she chided herself. Really, she'd have to learn to stop being so surprised at things after a while.
"
I made it, Tinka!" said Lydia, brushing some cobwebs from her robes. "
Where to next? Also, I'm definitely remembering that passageway, what a shortcut!"
Still curious about the tiny little elf, Lydia thought of something. "
If you don't mind me asking, Tinka, how old are you? Do house elves live longer than humans?"
