Happy New Year! Bel was pumped for the first practice session since the Christmas break, and glad to help everyone get back on track mentally. They had about three weeks to prepare for their next official match which was going to be against Gryffindor, and Bel was trying to figure out how much of a pep talk would be needed. Technically the only difference between Gryffindor's win against Slytherin, and Hufflepuff's against Ravenclaw was... well... well it was her, really. If her amazing team could do exactly what they had done before, if she caught the snitch, then they'd win by miles. Not that she'd ever actually caught a snitch against Abra. That... that would be an exciting first.

Anyway.

There was no obstacle course or anything today. Bel was sticking to pure scrimmage for this first practice back. And afterwards as always there'd be a chance to hang out together with hot chocolate and catching up and talking about non-Quidditch things. She stood under the goal hoops with one foot on the equipment chest that contained all the Quidditch balls. The bludgers were in rare form today too, they were complaining and bumping around in their straps so much that every now and then the chest bumped and shook violently, almost seeming like Bel's foot on it was the only thing keeping the lid closed.

Phew. Hopefully the team would be here soon!
