No moving staircases could stop her either, and she managed to leap from one to the other as soon as she realised the one she was riding wouldn't get her to the Defence Against the Dark Arts' room quickly.

The Gryffindor didn't slow down until she reached her destination and immediately started frantically knocking on professor Hirsch's door until he would open it.
