Nimma nodded, trying to keep her eyes from welling with tears. "Yes Miss, Nimma bowed. But that is because Nimma is a house elf! Miss Quinn is a witch, not a house elf!" Even with all of her years serving the Headmistress and Hogwarts, Nimma never quite knew how to explain to the respectful wizards and witches that they needn't bow or curtsy to house elves! Nimma was always grateful for the very sweet studentsies, and they had definitely been much more polite in the last few decades!
When Miss Quinn agreed to play Gobstones with her, Nimma couldn't help but smile. Oh how exciting this would be! At the question, Nimma nodded shyly. "Yes Miss, Nimma knows a bit!" She wouldn't claim to be any kind of expert on the game, but she had seen many students play before and was sure she could explain. Remembering as hard as she could, Nimma then frowned as she remembered how the game ends. “Nimma does not like how this game ends for the loser… She recalled seeing something shoot out of the marble to make the losing wizard smell bad. ”But Nimma can fix that!” She waited for Miss Quinn to set the game on the table before getting everything set up. Once the marbles were in the middle, Nimma snapped her fingers over the little pile of shooter marbles before scooting it towards her new friend. "Please pick your main marble Miss!"
