So there was a whole wall in the school where they could just draw and paint and create as much art as they wished?! Well, no. Not exactly. But this was the next best thing. "I'm going to leave my mark in here one day! I'm going to start thinking about a good quote right now," she declared, and she even promised herself it wouldn't be anything about cupcakes, puppies, or anything of that sort. It'd be something meaningful, like... Well, she didn't know! But when she did know, she was going to carve it on the walls in this very room!

"I should probably get better at Ancient Runes, too," she said, but only as an afterthought at first. "I don't want my carving to end up like one of those tattoos people sometimes get. You know, the kind in a foreign language that they think says something really cool? Then it turns out to just say 'Bathroom' or 'Hamburger', and they don't even know it!"

She quietened down, for once, when the Headmistress explained how she didn't know all the answers. "But you know most of them," she pointed out. The box just happened to be an exception, probably because it belonged to Merlin, and he just had to be extra about keeping it under lock and key. She peered at the walls again when the Headmistress revealed her true reason for visiting. "Oh, well, that's a good idea. I guess you can never have too many eyes and ears in a castle this big," she agreed. "I'll be on the lookout, too. Well, once I get good enough at Runes and all."
