Hogwarts RPG Name: Addison Ayers First Year | Kye was always nervous when approached in class by the Headmistress. Not because of her tendency to intimidate, which was actually part of why Kye admired her, but because she wasn’t the best at runes. She had been studying over the summer just to feel like she had caught up! Hearing Headmistress Hawthorne give feedback though, encouraged Kye more than one would think. Yes, she was struggling a little with the brooch but for one, it sounded as though she was not the only one, and for two, she had gotten the other runes correct! That deserved its own celebration really. She took another look at the brooch’s bind rune and tried to eye it differently. She sketched it out and covered up pieces to see if she could see the different runes a bit easier that way. Gebo was a given, so she stopped looking at that part and focused more on the left half. Okay, well if it wasn’t Ansuz, then it must be… oh! She jotted down on her parchment. As she looked for the third rune within, she wondered if perhaps it was Hagalaz? She wrote her guess down, tentatively. Sooner than she knew, the five minutes were up and Kye could hear the scratching on the chalkboard. Looking up, she realized she was about to find out the answer for the brooch…….. Well, she had been wrong again with Hagalaz… but at least the rest of it was correct! Honestly, that was a big win in Kye’s book! SPOILER!!: Notes

Kye finished writing her notes and compared it again to what the Headmistress had written. At the question, Kye studied her notes, trying to figure out any solid connections. |
