He did agree that the objects were Viking in origin, but they were pretty much known for raiding and pillaging villages, so the phase 'Viking pirates was pretty much a redundancy, but he didn't say so, since he'd been chided for 'talking down' to others while doing that recently thanks Professor Kennedy. "Considering that these objects seem to be of Viking origin and the runes used, I think that the arm ring was made to help the wearer be successful in a raid." Though, only Merlin knew why a Viking would need said help. Weren't they supposedly pretty intimidating on their own?
