Watching the items being uncovered was sort of a let down. Not that she expected there to me some amazing thing under there, but she was hoping for a treat of some sort. No harm in hoping. She got up out of her seat and ventured over to the objects obtained during the worst creature companion class ever. The one where the professor had flat out lied about there not being things in the water that could hurt the students and that they would all be safe entering the great lake.

She shook her head and glanced over the options before her. She really had no idea how she was supposed to figure out what the runes were when they were all jumbled together, but she was going to try. She started her page of notes:


She stared at her notes, wondering how those were supposed to be working together. She also hoped that at least one of the runes was correct. It was a lot harder to pick them out than she thought it would be. Either way, she was trying and there had to be some good in that.

On to the next item.

She was even more confused after the arm ring. Why would hunting and representing a group of people go together? The positive outcome part kind of fit with the others, but she had no idea how the three of them worked together.

Moving along to another item she exhaled and shook her head yet again. The runes were just a indecipherable jumble. It looked like someone sat a party hat on its side.

Primal form? Emmalyn had no idea what that was supposed to mean. One was for getting rid of or starting things and the other was for stopping them. Yet again, she had no idea how those were supposed to be working together.

Noticing she had just enough time for one more, Emmalyn eyed the last two objects. Simply for times sake, she chose the one closest to her, the Gold Pendant.


Those two seemed to go together. At least better than most of the other items she looked at. Shrugging her shoulders, she finished up her notes and hoped a few were the correct runes.
