Lightly shaking his head at the nickname that seemed to have stuck for good - really, there'd been a time he hoped it would be only temporary, but soon he'd lost all hope and had nothing else to do but to embrace it - his feet moved on auto-pilot towards Beth. He let his bag fall before sitting cross-legged next to her. "Hey, Beth." He was beyond grateful for the darkness, and hoped she wouldn't notice his flushed cheeks. "Mmm, I was going to do the same!"
There was tea and food? He didn't want to be a bother and all... but food... he was always up for midnight snacks... "I can never say no to food," he mumbled under his breath, his cheeks heating up even more. But he was a growing boy. Well, he still waited for the growing part, but he always ate well.
... then she mentioned Quinn and her thoughts on them snogging secretly. He could only pull his legs up to his chest and bury his face in his knees because, really, he couldn't imagine himself ever- yeah, there was no way he was going to- nuh-uh. "Why does she even think we're-"
But anyway. He pulled his face away before he could add the pattern of his jeans to his already red face, and said, "So. Aurora." Way to go, genius. "You think we'll see anything tonight?" he asked, already pulling out his textbook to flip through the pages for information... any kind of information on Auroras.
