She nodded in agreement.
"Defense spells are extra hard." Maybe it was because her heart was never into defense spells. She couldn't imagine ever wanting to cause any sort of harm to another, even if it was to protect herself.
"I'm happy you will get to go home for a bit for Christmas, but it will be nice to have you back for part of the holiday. Maybe we can practice then?" That would be a good time with not so many other students around. Having others watch her made her nervous, and more likely to mess a spell up.
