She finished packing her things and slung her bag over her shoulder, because even with her many layers, the cold was starting to seep through. And it was about time to start heading down to dinner. She'd make a quick stop to the Ravenclaw tower first to remove excess layers and drop her bag in her dorm before heading down to the Great Hall.

The silence was definitely noted by now. But, of course, the headmistress remained neutral as ever. It was a skill she had mastered quite well, after many years of teaching. She wasn't an easy one to crack to say the least.

A smile appeared on her lips when the Ravenclaw started asking about Ilvermorny. "Yes, Ilvermorny has Houses. There are actually a few similarities, considering one of its founders knew much of Hogwarts. But there are, of course, many differences."

"No, dear, Horned Serpent, in spite of the snake being the Houses' animal, is not like Slytherin. Hogwarts Houses are based more on personality, whereas the Houses at Ilvermorny go a bit deeper than that. For instance, Slytherin is for those who are cunning, whereas Horned Serpent is considered to represent the mind of a witch or wizard. A direct correlation between the schools' Houses isn't an easy one to make, but it could be argued that Horned Serpent is similar to Ravenclaw in a way."

Seeing the girl putting the bag over her shoulder and the sun in the distance, the headmistress then asked, "Should we continue this conversation another time? In my office, perhaps? It is getting a bit chilly out here, and supper won't be staying warm forever, you know."
