Kye hadn't really been paying attention to whether or not they were SUPPOSED to start casting the spell, she had kind of just assumed... Well, now that they had the official say so, she put the wand movement with the incantation, and the white light flourished out from her wand. She smiled at it as it whooshed forward, proud of herself for getting it on the first try. Now she needed to try it non verbally though. Verbal spells weren't going to impress anyone at NEWT level! Fluctus Lux! She tried it a few more times, getting the spell to work after a couple of tries, and doing her best to concentrate and get it to be more powerful.
