........ So, anyways. Astronomy.

As bad at Astronomy as Abra was, he was particularly interested in this one bit of magic that Professor Kennedy was teaching them, mostly because it was all to do with those pretty lights up in the sky. Also, because it was a spell, nothing to do with charts or calculations or remembering moons of planets or names of stars. Spells were much easier than all of that.

He could have done with less of all that talk about particles though, but Abra had sort of got through all that with a glassy-eyed stare at the professor. Now for the ~magic~.

"Fluctus Lux... Fluctus Lux..." Abra repeated the words a few times before raising his wand to try the wand movement, but without adding his intent to the spell just yet. Just going through the motions. "Fluctus Lux..." He moved his wand back and forth, peeking at those around him to compare wand movements and make sure he was doing it right. He had that incantation down, even though it was the type to get mixed up if he wasn't paying enough attention, but that wand movement was a little trickier to get absolutely perfect.
