Fluttery Pegasi The first year jumped at the cough, and stopped playing. She wasn't exactly sure who she'd expected to be standing there when she turned around, but the Headmistress wasn't it. Quinn straightened up, and studied the woman silently, as if she were a book the young girl was trying to read. "Yes," Quinn agreed finally, before emphasizing, "Almost." Still, she took the hint and lovingly returned her violin to its case. "I just came up here for a bit of solitude. Music helps me..." Her eyes flicked back to the Headmistress, almost as if trying to read her thoughts from her expression. How much did Professors actually share with the Headmistress about things, possibly, going on with students? The Headmistress wasn't letting much show on her face, so it was difficult to say. "....with things."
Best just leave it there for now, yeah?
Quinn slipped the violin case into her messenger bag, and picked up her book. "I was trying to work out a new spell idea I had." As a first year, it would be a while before she could hope to succeed at inventing her own spells, at least without bring them to Imogen or some other adult to assist her in working it out and casting it. But that didn't mean she couldn't start working on it now. "What brings you up here?" She asked in what might have been a mixture of curiosity and suspicion. She could remember seeing the Headmistress up here before.
