Hogwarts RPG Name: Andromeda Renzler-Denaker Gryffindor First Year | Headmistress Hawthorne Fluttery Pegasi It was getting in the evening and while the sun had dipped below the mountains that surrounded the school, it was still fairly light out. It'd be another half an hour before the final light of day was lost, at which point Quinnlin would pack her violin and her books back into bag and would head back into the castle and ready herself for dinner.
For now, however, Quinn continued to play her violin fiercely, her bow sliding angrily over the strings. She wasn't playing anything particular, just playing. The enchanted instrument sounding more like a string quartet than a solo violin. Music was an outlet for her, and tonight she was pouring everything she felt into her playing. She let her emotions drive hands and the bow; all the anger and bitterness and resentment she felt toward her parents and that letter flowing out of her and into the music. An original composition in the moment that would never be heard again.
And she was still angry. Even with everything with the Moons, and her future looking suddenly much more optimistic, she was angry at her parents, and that wasn't going to fade soon. She understood now why Puck had told her she needed to say everything she wanted to, needed to to her parents. It was the only way she'd be free of it.
Her book, currently displaying a book on magical theory, laid open and forgotten at her feet, its pages flapping in the wind. The cold of November had set in, which was partially why Quinn was up her, on the battlements rather than someplace warmer and with better acoustics. It was cold and none of her fellow students would be up here. It was just her, alone, the cold air biting her cheeks. The rest of her remained warm and snug in the many layers she'd put on; the black leather jacket Puck gave her made up the top most layer. It seemed to fit better with all the layers she had on underneath.
