Talking, why did it have to be a thing? She internally sighed rather than letting it out, as to not be rude. Mostly because she was pretty sure that it was a professor addressing her. For one, the voice was familiar and she was pretty sure she knew which one it was...for two, who in hades asked about having homework besides a professor?

When she flicked her green eyes up....she was actually very surprised with the sight that met her eyes. She knew it was Professor Vance...all that visually accosting color was unanticipated however. She did not know that her head of house was one of those women. The young snake trained her eyes on the professor's to avoid staring and wincing at the disturbing wardrobe choice.

Expect the unexpected witch! Eria Lovecraft hid wherever she could that avoided other people...especially at odd hours.

"I didn't expect to see you here either Professor Vance." Really she didn't think anyone else would come out here now..."Actually, I've completed all of my current assignments Professor." If that was a ploy to make her feel guilty or leave, Ha! You've got the wrong Slytherin for that...
