"Dusty?" Where did that even come from? His robes were never dusty- oh. "Oh." Alright, he'll allow that one. He couldn't help but shudder at the mention of bludgers, though, since he'd never been hit by one. That was, until-
Oh. For some reason, Ewan still trusted him with the oddly shaped ball, which was silly, really. He wouldn't trust himself with it, but he didn't truly have time to protest when Ewan was already backing away and waiting for him to practice his throws. And why was Beth still standing next to him when Daehyun was about to throw? That was just plain dangerous, and might equal the amount of pain of a bludger.
Focus on the ball, right. Forget everything else? He was mostly focused on not breaking Ewan's or Beth's faces, nor hitting professor Myers now, who looked so serene. Herbology was one of his best subjects, and the last thing he wanted was for the professor to hold a grudge against him for hitting him with a ball. That was just-no, he couldn't have that. So focus. He tried to copy what Ewan called a triangle with his hands, but he just ended up with an awkward posture and, with a deep breath, threw the ball.
... which landed at Ewan's feet, pathetically plopping once against the grass before settling right there. Well. "Errr-sorry 'bout that." It only made him more flustered that Beth was there to witness his failure, too. Among bros as Ewan called them was okay, he supposed, but more spectators? He wanted to dig up a hole and bury himself in it.
