It was Halloween and Reese had decided to skip going to the party that most everyone else had decided to go to. He wasn't all into being around a large crowd of people.. Truthfully, he didn't like humans in general. So, a party was the last place he'd have been found tonight..
So, there he was hanging out in the Room of Requirement all by his lonesome. there were two sides with a screen-like partition.. One side he had a little den-like area, complete with TV and couch coffee table... The usual furniture that would adorn a den. And on the other.. The far side of the room had several 6' hardwood logs set on short table that could be spun.. Lazy Susan style.
There he was, his wand drawn and a medium length of red licorice rope hanging out of the corner of his mouth. " Diffindo.. ", he said through clenched teeth. His concentration high as he carved chunk after chunk of walnut from one of the thick logs. Piece after piece. Chunk after chip...
One picture etched in his mind.. It might take every bit of his strength and energy, but he was going to carve his foxes.. Pulsar and Radar.. Merlin, he missed them like mad.
