They're friends, right?

After all those explanations of what a Youtube was, it seemed like Vivian was still a WHOLE lot confused about the matter. "Yes. Sort of like that. You have this box..." A computer. "and there was a collection random things in there ...of people talking, singing, dancing or eating. Whatever we do in reality was mirrored in there." She turned to look at Vivian trying to fathom if those were enough. "If you know anything about a video...or a television or a computer perhaps" she decided to let it go instead..."I think, I'll just bring you down at the Entertainment Room, . I'm pretty sure we'll find some videos up there." That would be if Vivian wasn't familiar of videos too or televisions or computers. "Basically, a Youtube is a collection of videos from different people which they shared over the Internet." Then again, Internet. Phew! All these explanations were draining Olivia's energy but somehow she was taking pride of her knowledge of these stuffs.

Why was Vivian talking about crushes now?

"NO!" OMG!

Now, Olivia was blushing and trying to suppress her giggle. She hadn't thought about that yet. There were a lot of boys running around their common room. Some prefers studying alone, some would just play with their pets, most only talk about Quidditch. "Eeeeew! No way!" She turned to look at Vivian and ask her, "How about you? Have you had crushes back when you're a first year? Is your boyfriend now, already your boyfriend at first year?" Because WOAH!

After the overwhelming hug, Vivian revealed how she ended up calling Flynn Kowalski as Coleslaw. Olivia smiled because who would have thought that seventh years would be calling each other weird nicknames. It sounded too first year-ish.

Once upon a time, Vivian was a firstie too. And she was one lively bludger at that—always running around, if not skipping, and singing along to the first song in her head—but times have changed too. Now, she was exactly what a stereotyped seventh year was: stressed. That was pretty much it. But Vivian smiled at Oli. At least she’d become aware. “C’mon, let’s head down to the next floor,” the blond gestured for the first year to follow, reaching the moving staircases. She’d better follow if she didn’t want to end up in the wrong corridor.

The concept of this Youtube thing was still pretty silly, Vivian thought. But she’d give it to the muggles for being ingenious despite not being able to do magic. Then again, they created technology, which was very impressive for what some might consider was ordinary. However, she still never had a reason to delve into this entire Youtube thing because even if she was a halfblood, she embraced her magical roots. “Muggles have the most intriguing inventions, don’t you think?” So much potential.

Oh, and did she say ew to crushes? Vivian was amused. Again, once upon a time, she would have said the same as a kid. However, feelings were inevitable. Having crushes was a thing, and it had apparently led to a tiny bit of a heart break there too. Not that she was going to share that with an eleven year old. No. Oli should enjoy life without feelings and emotions being a thing. She deserved that peace of mind while she was young. “Oh well, I think it’s normal to crush on someone,” Vivian said in the most casual way ever. Or at least, she tried to make it seem casual. But… the next question made the Head Girl turn pink. “And no, I didn’t have a boyfriend in my first year.” Things were rather complicated until her fifth year. Crush-related things. Again, she didn’t want to talk about it. Was it still supposed to matter? Vivian was happy with her relationship now. “I started dating Chase before my sixth year.” And she quietly dreaded having to answer more of the young Ravenclaw’s prying questions about the topic.

And yes, Oli. Believe it or not, seventh years could be firsties at heart too. "Anyway, welcome to the fifth floor corridor." Looked very much the same as any other corridor here at Hogwarts, just saying.
