Everything seemed to have happened in a matter of seconds, although Maddie of course wasn't actually counting this while in the midst of the trial match. She had just enough time to frown over missing that first shot, when she noticed that her teamwork with Charlie had paid off. They'd scored together! "THANKS!" she called out to him, and she smiled his way. "SAME TO YOU!" Charlie...what a hottie! Not that she was concerned with that kind of stuff during a match, though...

Anyway...



Maddie considered switching up for a bit and trying her hand at guarding one of the goal hoops. She'd even made her way halfway there, when she heard Emmalyn's call. Cool! Maddie was game to try a little more passing. It'd worked for her and Charlie before, so maybe that was one of her strong suits. "HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT!" she called out, and then she flew into an area where there were no other flyers, leaving herself unguarded and wide open for a catch.

Hovering near the center of the pitch, Maddie eyed the quaffle Emmalyn had thrown and kept her eyes narrowed in on it, making sure she was within the right range to catch it. When she thought the timing was just right, she soared forward, accepted the pass, and then dashed toward the goal hoops. Still somewhat toward the center, Maddie decided that the center goal hoop was the one she'd try for. She eyed it, raised her arm toward it in preparation of throwing the quaffle, and then at the last second, hurled it toward the left goal hoop instead.

Nothing like trying to trick the Keeper into thinking you were going for one goal hoop when you were really going for another...
