She flushed as the professor walked by and smiled. She wasn't exactly sure how she had managed the transfiguration on the second try. It was highly likely it was beginners luck, more than any actual skill she possessed. She decided to remain quiet and let the chips fall where they may when it came time to transfigure the pumpkins.

As for the second question she asked, the other students had offered up some great ideas. "I was thinking along the lines of what Skylar had said. Would it be possible to turn yourself into stone and survive? I would be much heavier, and it would be harder to kidnap me or take me somewhere if I were made of stone for a bit."

She liked the idea of not harming another, even if it meant possibly harming herself in the process. Turning her attacker into stone, or even parts of them, didn't sound like something she would ever want to do.
