Beth and open Fluttery Pegasi October 18th. In an odd way, today was almost like a second birthday to Quinn. Yet this birthday was bit backwards, as instead of the cake and gifts being for her, they were for Beth. Well, the cake was. And if there were gifts at the moment, they'd be for Beth too. Alas, Quinnlin did not have a gift for Beth, just yet.
But she did have cake, which she had made herself with a lot of help from the house elves in the kitchen, especially Tinka.
Quinn spotted her best friend and literal blood sister over at the snake table. She carefully and delicately carried the round cake over and set in front of Beth from behind then sat down next to her. Green frosting adorned the cake, with silver lettering that gleamed and sparkled, yet were still quite edible. They read: Thank you! A single candle was lit, marking the anniversary. It was a trick candle, that would never go out, no matter how much you blew, or any other method you tried in extinguishing it. It was charmed only to go out when removed from the cake. She'd had help with that. Quinn felt it was fitting for the occasion. "One year today." That was all she said. Beth knew what today's anniversary was about, and no one else needed to know.
