Well that was one way to get her attention. Jessa winced at the sudden, loud noise that yanked her from her practice in such a way that she physically felt as if her concentration had been yanked from her brain stem. An exaggeration, maybe, but it was how she felt.
With a small scowl in place, Jessa lifted her gaze to the woman again. Oh. They were moving on. Right. The Sixth Year pocketed her phial again, for now forsaking her attempts at wandless magic. If she kept it out on the desk, there was a good chance she'd keep focusing on it and miss all the information she already knew. Real shame that would be.
