It was a spare office that was nearly perfectly empty, thus letting her enjoy the true acoustic potential of the castle without much impediment.
She made her way first to the corner, depositing her bag and removing a violin case from it. With loving care she removed the violin and made her way to the center of the room, and started to play. It was a magical instrument, of course, and let her layer sounds and notes so the effect was similar to several violins, and sometimes even another string instrument or two, in there, playing at once. Reese too was in search of the room of requirement, but his exploration was cut short by the sounds of a violin singing.. He followed the sounds of lamentation.. They felt familiar, as if he might know their owner.. So much feeling and emotion was the player putting into this piece.. And he sat close to the open office door and closed his eyes... All he could picture was his new best friend Quinnie swaying into the bows motion and ride the wave back the other way only to have the emotion drive on the cycle of sway and the ride back.. He could her ferocity as it built and the coming to a victorious Peak... She had won and overcame the oppression that had held her down.. Quinnie was a phoenix and he knew she rise to meteoric heights..
