And then Vivian pointed out the music room. This one she knew. This was where she was a while ago. A little chit chat with Ewan Jones. A bit awkward and all emotions. Too embarrassing. "Do you play music too?" Not that Olivia was doing music too, but she was just thinking about Ewan, who does music and plays a lot of musical instruments. But yeah. Okay.
The Transfiguration classroom. She was very much interested. She would definitely be acing this class. She was already excited.
The little Ravenclaw half-listened when Vivian started the stories about the hag but she was more absorbed with the possible fun with her upcoming Transfiguration class.
Olivia watched Vivian accept the bag of M&Ms the Head Girl had given her. Was that a thank you she heard? From the Head Girl? Full of pride, she beamed widely and said, “I got tons in my room. You can go check our dorm.” She could right? She’s THE Head Girl! Whatever the policy could be, Vivian would know better. She could show her, her bed and Chloe’s plushies.
Olivia watched Vivian unclasp the pin and hold it out to her. “Oh no. Don’t remove it. I like to see it on you,” said Olivia pushing it back to the older girl’s fingers. Closing her palm with Vivian’s palm, the shiny tag was cold. "I just wanted to touch it," she said almost inaudibly. “You know, I could be your assistant during your patrol duties,” she blurted out. What she really meant was I could work for you Vivian.
Vivian didn't mind it one bit, how Oli was so excited and enthusiastic with just about anything. She had been a first year herself, six terms ago, and she could still remember how absolutely thrilled she was to get to Hogwarts. Without knowing how the staircases worked, of course. She did get her fair share of tardiness during her first term. Taking Oli's schedule, she felt a small surge of nostalgia. "
You have a flying class with my sister, by the way." Eloise was a Slytherin from Oli's year too. But Merlin, she missed having so much free time. Now, she only got to actually rest until after her last class, unless she was in charge of curfew patrol. "
What do you plan on doing during your free time?" Because this sleep-deprived seventh year was partly jealous.
"
I play music, yeah," Vivian shared, passing by the music room and Transfiguration classroom. She had written a few songs too, but those were mostly for her own private
feels. The only time she had ever shared a song she made was when she recorded it for Chase for Valentines. "
It's kind of like my first love, behind marshmallows, of course. I can play the guitar and piano. How about you?" She did say 'too', so the blond had assumed she was a musician herself.
But phew! She was also quite glad the hag stuff had dissolved. Vivian didn't want to discuss it more and scare the kid.
And, gosh, were first years this adorable? Vivian had noticed that prideful grin, and then the thought of her being able to get into the dormitories in other common rooms. "
Oh..." She laughed a tiny bit. "
Students aren't allowed inside common rooms other than their own." But if she were to be honest, she had been inside the Ravenclaw common room when she was going through emotional stuff to visit her big 'bro' Ethan. Now that he had graduated last term, Vivian didn't really have a reason to get in there. But she wasn't going to endorse sneaking inside other common rooms to first years. Not yet, at least.
Oh uhm, okay. Vivian sheepishly pinned her badge back on her shirt. "
What did you say?" She asked when she didn't really catch what the younger Ravenclaw said. She knew she had said something though, but didn't hear anything. And then... what?
Vivian gave it a bit of thought. It would be nice to have a younger student follow her around, like a tiny apprentice (because calling her a minion felt a bit rude). "
You wanna patrol with me?" A faint half-smile, half-smirk creeped on the Head Girl's face.
